To Dye For: Tie Dye on The Rise

I wonder if self proclaimed hippie Rachel Zoe, "dies" for the new tie-dye trend that is popping up all over the place.  We first saw the trend on the runway at the Spring 2010 Tory Burch show.

Tory makes it possible to wear the trend without looking like a dirty hippie who has bathed in a troth of patuli oil.  Keeping it classic and modern with structured separates seems like the way to go. Check out some of my favorite pulls below.

Tory Burch, Banana Republic, Fred Flare, Whistles, Acne Jeans, The Laden Showroom, Victoria's Secret, American Apparel, Rachel Roy, Gypsy 05, Mango

To get the Tory look and "name" I suggest pairing the scarf and wearing it as a top (as shown) with white ankle jeans, nude gladiator flats and gobs of gold bangles. Simple yet doable. I recently saw this Rebecca Minkoff bag at the W Store in midtown and its crazy cute and the leather is yuummy

Its a little biker girl chic, but I still love it.  For a little bit more understated look there's the Cynthia Bag from Tory Burch.

Good luck though... its sold out on shopbop!
